This is the best Friendly's ever. Great wait staff. Clean booths and tables. Bathrooms are clean and new. I have been eating here for over 15 years. And the quality of service and food has always been top notch. The breakfast is great bit I like coming for lunch or dinner so I can have a happy ending.

I don't know where to even start - of all the places I have been too, I have never been so disappointed to give it one star. I've been to this particular Friendly's over the years, but it has been quite some time since I have experienced this establishment. My wife and I were coming back from a day of Poker Runs and Customer Appreciation Parties and were feeling pretty good going in. We decided to chase the food we had eaten earlier with what better than a Friendly's Sundae. The service, while not outright horrible, was lacking to say the least. Our waiter was polite, soft-spoken, but unfortunately had a difficult time understanding what we wanted to order - which simply said - was two identical orders of one of their menu choices as is. We didn't ask for anything else or special other than unsweetened iced teas. Once the order showed up, it was wrong. We tried to get it fixed, but that was a mess. The manager wasn't helpful either, treating the whole ordeal as though it were our fault. Needless to say we left unhappy over the whole experience. I won't say we won't ever be back again - but it will most likely be a long, long time before we do. On the bright-side, the ice cream was good, the fixings for it were good as well, but the service - a key ingredient to the entire eating-out experience - needs a whole lotta work.

We stick out like a sore thumb in here with 4 children in our party. When we walked in everyone stared. We sit down and waitresses walk by, no greeting. Then we order and I questioned the peanut butter sundaes. Waiter tells me the peanut butter cup sundae is better than Reese pieces sundae and it has loads of peanut butter in it. Sundae comes and there is ONE Reese cup on it, and a flood of chocolate sauce. It taste nothing like peanut butter. I politely tell the waiter and he informs me that the sundae was made correctly. I was just sharing that I wasn't happy with taste. Don't name a sundae a Reese Peanut butter sundae and in its details say a peanut butter explosion and it NOT have a peanut butter flavor. Other people in my party, had the monster mash and the amount of whipped cream on it leveled out the amount of actual ice cream. Chocolate shake was good. Caramel sundae was okay and cookies and cream sundae was covered in hot fudge and not enough ice cream. I now understand why the location closer to home shut down. I wouldn't return. I rather drive to Cold Stone or find a Baskin Robbins.

All I can say is they were awesome, we literally walked in the door 3 minutes before closing, and they served us. Bob also known as "Bobfather" is an awesome waiter. The food was well prepared even when we expected it to be thrown together. I would recommend anyone stop in to eat there. If you want to walk out full and very well taken care of!!!

The food was good and the ice cream excellent. The service here moves a bit slower than elsewhere. Most customers I heard come in while we were there got at least one "we will be right with you." But they still take care of you. Ask for the ice cream menu when you sit down to see what flavor of Shake you may want. We would come here again though.

I don't come here often but when I do, it's good. The ice cream is usually the reason for going!

The BEST ice cream and sundaes of any place anywhere! I love it! I miss their crinkle cut fries, not as thrilled with the new ones. But their food has always been consistently good. We still go there mostly for ice cream.

The service and the food were ok, the ice cream was defiantly Friendly's which is the main reason we went. This is not the cleanest restaurant we've been to but we might try it again.

A family favorite close to the beach. We like the diversified menu and of course the ice cream for dessert. My son is always asking to go here so he can win something in the claw machine

Nothing more than a want to be Steak & Shake. Not to say that I think Steak & Shake is any better. I had a build it yourself omelet (choose 3 ingredients) with chopped potato fries and toast for 6.99. They also have a built your own burger. But the biggest thing they pride themselves in seemed to be their ice cream. They offer everything from cones, fudge sundays and shakes to ice cream cakes. Personally I would not drive out of my way to go back but if I were ever hungry and happened to be passing one might be willing to try something else on the menu.

Just visited Friendlies for the first time. It's basically a fast food restaurant with waiters. The burger was fine, the cole slaw was bitter. The server was nice.

Beware if you are a large party because they can't seat more than six at a table. Our party of 14 was seated at 4 tables, with kids and parents spread out among them. The staff and management felt compelled to berate our party for being in the way. Multiple times. We felt unwelcome enough that we took our desert to go. For a place with friendly in the name, the reception was anything but. Our server apologized many times for the rude behavior of the manager. Don't expect us back.

Very clean, good Health scores and friendly staff. Tasty food and awesome ice cream! First found this chain years ago in New York. Wish there were Friendly's closer to home.

Out of all the meals to be eaten breakfast is one of the least that gets me excited unless it's all the beacon you can eat for anything under $3 bucks, then I'm in but my heart pump repairman would himself have a coronary so no holding my breath on that ever happening. But I really enjoyed my breakfast sat Friendly's and would have given it 4 stars but I can only be a fan of breakfast if it is an all you evan eat bacon joint (one exception is Flippin Eggs in DeKalb, IL but my wife loves that place and so to keep joy in the marriage I have to have one favorite breakfast place), There is nothing fancy about Friendly's it isn't pancakes, waffles and french toast in a 1,000 different ways but rather a basic breakfast menu which I prefer over an IHOP type place. I had a bacon and cheese omelette, ,bacon! gotta have bacon! It was a good omelette, the bacon was big and crispy! The toast was toast and the coffee was coffee. The server was very friendly but I guess you have to be to work at Friendly's. The prices were very reasonable and though not fancy in decor it was clean and simple which as you may guess I like. Will I get off the plane and rush to Friendly's next visit, no but if it was nearby I'd take my lovely bride there.

The best part of this place is that it's walking distance to a couple hotels. Why pay $15 for breakfast at the hotel when you can get a quick workout and the same food for half the price? Service, food, prices were all ok. There's little to distinguish this place from Denny's/Coco's/Carrow's/Etc in terms of breakfast/lunch/dinner, service, and ambiance. The ice cream parlor is pretty decent, but nothing special. Way better than Baskin Robins (none of that weird mass-produced after taste), but not as rich and creamy as Cold Stone.
